My Role

When the brand started in 2015, their aim was to provide skillful education to women. They aimed at bringing
empowerment and entrepreneurship to women of all ages.
The logo was conceived as a master logo with logo mark as well as word mark. The logo colour is red to show the pas- sion with which the students learn there. The logo mark geometry and colour was inspired by sindhoor/ kunkum, which Indian women have on their forehead.
If you notice, you will see that the circle is imperfect. It shows that each and every individual is unique and is a work-in-progress.
The word mark is a handwritten font which was designed like a signature as the brand enables and empowers women to write and craft their own futures. To give the tagline a modern touch, I went with a sans-serif font.
I decided to bring in a bird that flies which also represents the letter ’m’ . It also shows the financial freedom women get to enjoy once they become skilled, which the brand represents and works for.
I have designed posters for their social media pages for the last few years. You can see more of it over here
Project Overview
The Problem
The fashion design institute needs an online presence to enhance brand awareness, attract local business, establish authenticity, provide updates, enable online class bookings, and reach potential students.
The Goal
To create a user-friendly platform that enhances the user experience, establishes brand identity, provides information and enables online class bookings, while offering additional features and optimizing for search engines and user feedback.

User Personas
* The user persona photos were taken from free online source and AI generated images. For reference purpose only.
Solution Concept
1
Use a clean and easy-to-read design
2
Make the website mobile-responsive
3
Ensure accessibility for all users
A simple and clean design that is easy to read and navigate is essential for creating an accessible website. Ensure that the website has a clear hierarchy of information, with headings and subheadings, and use plenty of white space to make the content easy to read.
With more and more users accessing the internet on mobile devices, it is important to make sure that the website is mobile-responsive. This means that the website should be optimized for viewing on smaller screens, with easy-to-use navigation, clear content, and fast load times.
It is important to ensure that the website is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities and elderly. Use appropriate tools and techniques such as alt text for images, clear and concise descriptions, and appropriate colour contrast.

User Flow
* The user flow is an initial Information Architecture created.

Wireframing
-
Based on my initial idea, I have created some wireframes that include a simple and straightforward header with clear options.
-
I have decided to keep the footer in my wireframes, which includes information such as location, contact number, and a subscribe button to make it easier for users to get in touch.
-
To improve readability on laptops, I have arranged all the details and pictures horizontally in my wireframes. I plan to redesign the layout for the mobile version to ensure optimal readability on smaller screens.

Mid-Fi Wireframe
-
I focused on creating detailed wireframes that would clearly communicate my ideas. To achieve this, I utilized grids and hierarchical structures to organize the content on the page, and I maintained a simple, cohesive design throughout.

Takeaways
The user testing feedback identified the need to improve the website's payment process to make it available for all courses offered by the institute. However, the positive feedback regarding the website's user interface design, ease of program discovery, engaging blogs, and student work's section demonstrated its effectiveness. To enhance the overall user experience, future website design efforts will focus on improving the payment process while maintaining the website's user-friendly interface.
During the pandemic, the institute successfully implemented online classes and a third-party payment gateway, enabling students across the state to enroll and participate in live online classes.
